Getting There

Because of their close proximity to Sydney the Blue Mountains are a great self-drive destination – for car rental see our car rental recommendations. For a more relaxing journey you could catch an air-conditioned, double decker train from the Central Railway Station to most of the Blue Mountain stations. The journey takes 2 hours to Katoomba, and services generally run every hour (more frequently during peak commuter times). Taxis are available on arrival to get you to your final destination.
