Le Marche Luxury Estate
Civitanova Alta, Umbria & Le Marche, Italy
These spectacular supervillas, set in a coastal olive grove in the Le Marche region of central Italy, are mind-blowingly indulgent. Located within nine acres of private land, they have sweeping grounds, multiple living spaces and 180-degree views of the Adriatic. The owners fashioned them with wellness in mind, so each comes with a show-stopping pool and private gym, as well as a shared yoga studio and leafy gardens. Olive Tree Villa (sleeps 8-14) also has an indoor spa, while Olive Grove Villa (sleeps 6-8) has a private tennis court. Personal trainers and sports therapists can be arranged, as can in-house chefs and all manner of bespoke experiences. It's like having a five-star hotel all to yourselves!
Le Marche is a very special region: largely undiscovered yet scenically beautiful and tantalisingly foodie - like Tuscany without the crowds. The villas’ position between the Adriatic coast and the Sibillini Mountains means it’s technically feasible to go skiing and relax on a beach in the same day. Or you could go truffle hunting, olive oil tasting, sailing or cycling to enchanting red-brick villages poised on hilltops. Pottery classes and wine tasting are at the top of our agenda when we visit. The philosophy here is to ‘be well, eat well, sleep well and live well', and that's a concept we could definitely get on board with right now.
