Turkey's beach scene can be showy, extravagant and a bit over the top, but not here. Just 40 minutes from Bodrum, and 10 from its airport, this serene boutique hotel with a private beach is laid back and family-friendly, with views of the Bay of Gulluk to stir the soul. The atmosphere is relaxed enough that guests happily chat to one another.
In a quiet spot so untouristy that taxi drivers often find it hard to locate, the Med-Inn has become a well-kept secret to those in the know. They don't tell their friends about the pool, the attentive service, the lush Mediterranean gardens and the beautifully coloured suites: it's all too good to share. There's plenty of space for families, friends and lovers who like to lounge, and many visitors find its easy-going attitude so addictive that they return year on year. We loved its VIP members' club feel, taking a gulet around the islands of the bay, going on daytrips to the ruins of Ancient Greece, and eating fresh fish as the sun set into a perfect aquamarine sea.

- Great for families, especially older children and teenagers - there's plenty of space in the suites, a relaxed ambiance, and a pool
- Right on the beach - make yourself at home on the chic jetty, where staff will happily serve food and drink
- Delicious fresh seafood in the restaurant and an extensive cocktail menu

- Good value for money, considering all the spacious, stylish suites have sea views and private balconies
Lows
- It's quite a long way from other places of interest (Bodrum is 40 minutes' drive): you might want to hire a car
- The menu in the shoulder/low season is limited, and it's 4km winding drive to Gulluk's restaurants
- The exterior of the 6-storey building isn't that attractive, and Gulluk has some ugly developments, but that's soon forgotten when you clock the view
- We found breakfast a little underwhelming compared to the amazing dinners

Med-Inn is perched on the Bay of Gulluk, overlooking its own small private beach in Milas, 40km from the centre of Bodrum on the west coast of Turkey.
By Air

By Bus:
There are plenty of buses into Bodrum from around Turkey in the summer months. The main bus station or otogar is in the centre of the town, and from here you can take a taxi.

Well it was a great location, but the food downstairs was really disappointing, It seemed pre-cooked not fresh made. We would have loved a simple Turkish pizza or a local fish or kebab. So I think that would make a real improvement and would make the place perfect!For the rest it was great and love to come back!
Family suite was really fantastic - large, views of the beach, really comfy beds, Wifi - air conditioned refuge, water replenished daily! I want the bathroom at home! We ordered lunches and drinks every day from the gorgeous day beds on the beach. Everything was so tasty and the hotel staff all made our holiday so relaxing. Food was always delicious. Then evening meals that were beautifully presented seated in the open, covered dining area overlooking the beach. As we are vegetarians we did go through all of their veg options but as these were really yummy. We did taxi to Guluk to sample port-side Turkish mezzes one evening. But we were mostly happy to be lazy and stay at this fabulous hotel. Breakfasts were really good coffee/juices - lovely spread from a buffet in the light-filled top floor dining room. Service was outstanding! From the moment the staff welcomed us with a cold drink they were then always happy to help out with any queries - also most spoke very good English and were very charming. Help ordering taxi to nearby Guluk and info about trips. The Manager & Reception staff and all the waiting staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. A high standard of cleanliness and presentation. Such a warm, but professional level of service - made our holiday feel effortless. It's not 'cheap'. But I really think that this hotel is worth every penny for the totally amazing experience of just being in this stunning place. I don't think I've ever had such an easy, relaxing holiday. The beach is beautiful and there was never any crowding round the pool or in the different areas around the beach so no jostling for sun beds! The wooden jetty makes it feel like you are in the Maldives and when there was some wind causing waves on a few days made getting in and out easy. Very quick and easy to get from the airport - took 20 minutes! Nothing much else where the hotel is or within walking distance - except a couple of little mini marts 5 mins walk away. Beware the wild boar by the roadside! Guluk is a short taxi ride away and lovely to visit. So happy i-escape introduced us to this true gem!
Had a little issue with reduced prices offered on another booking site but i-escape came up trumps. Consequently I remain loyal to the wonderful resource that is i-escape. We would love to go back to this hotel
Good overall. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. AC in our room failed on third night, but they gave us a good discount.
The front desk staff were amazing, super helpful, really accommodating with our nightmare of switching dates. Emir and Murat were superstars.
Rooms- super clean. our room was a little out dated, but the newer refurbished ones are lovely. Very spacious.
Food, - delicious. The food was great and very reasonable. Great selection for breakfast buffet which is included in the room. As my husband and son were poorly whilst we were there, we literally stayed for every single meal for the entire week of the stay. Each meal was very tasty, good quality and the portions are huge. We often split meals, as too much to order one each.
Service - service is fairly relaxed (slow) but this is all over Turkey, just the general vibe. All staff were super friendly and helpful if you ask/need anything
Value - great value for money.
The property is really nicely designed, super clean. Lovely pool area and the beach platform is great. For the price it is very good value but would recommend as a short stay along with travelling around.
