Outside, crank up your best summer playlist on the Sonos speakers. Set the world to rights in the Moroccan-style chill-out space. Dine under the covered courtyard terrace. Fire up the barbecue poolside. Or claim a shady spot under a pine tree. Word is there’s plenty of space to go around. Their eco credentials are impressive too, with all grey water collected to irrigate the land and solar-powered hot water. The surrounding 160 acres of farm and woodland have been converted to a certified agroturismo estate, managed to benefit indigenous flora and fauna. So, spend balmy evenings watching red kites and swallows dance as you sip a glass of wine. Heaven! This is one gem we can’t wait to visit.

Rooms
This farmhouse is big! The main house can comfortably accommodate three families of 4 or a large group of 12; and there's a two-bedroom annexe which you can add if your group is larger (up to 16 + kids).
The main house has six bedrooms and five bathrooms spread across two floors and a semi-separate 'granny suite'. Expect wood-beamed ceilings, clean white walls and classic country house-style furnishings across the living quarters, including the large ground-floor salon. Bathrooms come with gorgeous Bramley products; three have showers and two have tubs.
If you can, bag yourself the double room on the first floor with its own sun terrace (note, the low walls make this a no-go area for little ones). Grandparents or those who’d prefer extra privacy are well catered for in the semi-separate suite. It comes with a double ensuite, air-con and a separate entrance.
Kids can enjoy sleepovers in the first-floor children’s wing, with its two interconnecting twin rooms and shared bathroom with bathtub.
The separate annexe has two bedrooms, which can each be set up with twin beds or a kingsize double, one bathroom with a shower, and an additional toilet.
Features include:
- Fan
- Hairdryer
- Tumble dryer
- Washing machine
- WiFi
Eating
Knock up a feast in the smartly equipped kitchen (the closest supermarket is 10 mins away). There's an American-style fridge-freezer and a Nespresso machine among other amenities. Or arrange for a professional chef to take care of business (the owners can sort this for you). Feast in the adjacent dining room, or, on balmy evenings dine out on the covered terrace; we hear it's quite the experience. Both the dining table and the terrace table seat 12 comfortably. Note that there's a safe drinking water tap so you don't need to buy plastic bottles of water.
Heading out, nearby Alaior has some top eating options. Es Festuc – one of our personal favourites – serves delicious, well-priced tapas. Or for fancier fare, head to Mahon (20 mins) or Son Bou (15 mins).
Features include:
- Barbecue
- Chef on request
- Coffee maker
- Food blender
- Fridge
- Hob or stove
- Microwave
- Oven
- Toaster
Activities
- Leaving the villa is by no means essential. Swim in the tree-lined saline pool, channel your inner Raducanu on the private tennis court, or lounge in the shade of the peach trees. Bliss
- Discover the Caribbean-blue waters that lap Menorca’s shores. The heavenly white sands of Son Bou are closest (20-min drive). Its shallow water makes this a great spot for kids. Or head north to Pregonda and Pilar for equally spectacular beach action (40 mins)
- Explore the hilltop medieval town of Alaior (7 mins). Cafes and boutiques are aplenty. The bustling weekly markets are worth a visit too
- Cruise on a kayak and marvel at prehistoric caves and barely discovered coves. Lots of guided tours are available. Try Rutas Kayak Menorca at Cala en Porter Beach (20 mins)
- Don your best walking shoes and take on one of the many hiking trails available on the island. Cami de Cavalls is a top place to start (25 mins)
Activities on site or nearby include:
- Badminton
- Hiking
- Kayaking
- Shopping / markets
- Snorkelling
